Only the Irish could come up with such a magical drink. The combination of soft triple distilled whiskey with animal cream, vanilla, caramel, coffee and chocolate puts the weaker half of humanity into a state of ecstasy. However, I wouldn’t mind treating myself to a glass of aromatic Baileys and savoring it in a quiet and cozy atmosphere. And I’m not ashamed to admit it - the Irish are amateurs in many ways, but they know about alcohol (that’s what my beloved Jameson is worth). But this is all lyrics, let's move directly to practice.

Chocolate Baileys

If you want to reproduce chocolate-flavored Baileys at home, be prepared for the fact that you cannot do without the essence. Any chocolate bar melted in a water bath and then introduced into a drink will take on a solid structure and settle to the bottom in a thick layer as soon as the popular cream liqueur cools to room temperature.

You can experiment with a wide variety of chocolates countless times, but the effect will always be the same. We can only guess how the producers of the original liqueur, who claim to use only natural products, will overcome this situation. But in our kitchen, we have every right to resort to a little trick and add a few drops of coffee essence at the very final stage of preparation.
