How Magnit is testing a new store format

However, JosDeVries The Retail Company consultant Irina Bolotova doubts that coffee zones will significantly increase Magnit’s traffic, but they will affect the time spent in the store and the average check. “If such a corner is located at the entrance, a person with coffee can spend more time in the store and, as a result, make more purchases,” she argues. In the third quarter, traffic at Magnit decreased by 3.4%, and comparable sales fell by 0.7%, the company reported.
